and now for something completely different........

Some time ago I did some work to my Ruger 10/22..While messing with it I noticed a few folks had installed adjustable cheek rest..They looked like Kydex to me so I looked into it a little more..I was shocked to see the price tag on the ones everyone is buying so I made my own..I can tell you I can sell mine for half what the other guy's do and still make money....I still have not come up with a nut and bolt I like but I will.....

Proto type IWB

This is something still in the works...

Anyway this one is going to have a bunch of options for clips, loops, ride height and cant....

Now for a OWB

Now for a OWB

This one has adjustable ride height and you can also change how tight it pulls to your body.. If you want to CC you can pull it in tight if you want to use at the range you drop it low and hang it off you belt for easy grip.....

IWB with leather loops.................

Moving on to another IWB this time with leather loops..

I really like the ease of use the leather loops provide....

Easy on and off OWB

Now for a OWB again with leather loops..

I came up with this one because some folks showed concern that the lower cut Bikini II's were not stable enough of a platform...

So it has been awhile......

I have been coming up with some new stuff just never thought to update this blog..

So here are some updates on what I have come up with...

Lets start with a new IWB with a Kydex clip...

Another Bikini II

This one is for Dave.. He saw the one I made for the 5 inch 1911 and asked for one to fit his 4.25...

So here it is in OD Green.. I don't put loops on the stuff I make for him I let him do it. After all he makes the loops I use...

The Steyr GB Experiment

So no one makes a trainer to use as a mold for the Steyr GB. So one of the guys over on the Steyr club site asks if a airsoft pistol would work???Well I struck a deal with two members and we set out to find out...

Here are some photos of what they asked for. One a settable cant and one a Bikini II...

The verdict is still out if they work or not. We just have to wait on the mail...

I just heard the results on the settable cant rig..

"Just got mine today, and craftsmanship is exceptional!!!

GB fits perfectly..

Retention is very positive."

Sweet!!! :)

This is what was said about the Bikini II

"Oh its beautiful!!"

"It works well and look wonderful! I just got to get used to the snaps as they are very stiff."

So I guess the airsoft copy is a mold for thr real thing...

The Bikini II

I thought I would give a low cut bikini another try. This time still with out a screw or eyelet in front of the sight. When I do start selling this will be the one I offer. Super fast draw rides great tight to the body.. So here is the Bikini II....Shown in OD Green with black shark loops from Dave....

O.D Green Paddle

Dave asked me if I could make a paddle so I gave it a try. Here is my first prototype paddle in O.D. Green. I like it!! It is comfy but does not hide well. It will be great for around the house or anyplace you don't have to hide it....

Another Pancake

I gave a pancake another try. This time I used a radical cant. I also made it a slide type of rig so I can carry my 5 inch and me 3.5 inch 1911's..Not really my type of holster but it wears great and hides good too..

The Low Rider

After posting the "Bikini" On DC.com Some folks thought it would look better without the Chicago screw in front of the sight. So I have come up with a newer version... The Low Rider

Bikini for a Glock

I even made a Bikini for Dave to use in the shop..Of coarse he had to supply his own leather loops... He had to send me a blue gun to use for this project. It was the first time I used a trainer as a mold...

Kdex clips

Around this time I started to supply Kydex clips for Dave (Little Bear Custom Holsters)
So far I have been making C-J and standard clips for his tuckable holsters. I will soon be making v-clips as well..

A simple bender for a freinds Taurus

A fellow I work with wanted something to keep his pistol in. Something he could wear out hunting. He was not concerned with concealed carry at all. I tried something different with this one. I left wings for the belt to hold onto.
The results were this thing rides tight up against you!!! I wish I had taken more pic's of this holster..

Biniki for the Steyr

I liked this holster so much I quickly made one for my Steyr.. Some of these pic's have elephant loops and some are done in shark.. Once again all my leather goods come from Dave at Little Bear Custom Holsters.. I have been happily surprised at how well this type of holster pulls the pistol in close. I can't even describe how fast and smooth the draw is..
